The City of Dallas has selected three program operators: Business & Community Leaders (BCL) of Texas, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Committees
The Business and Economic Development Committee monitors, solicits and maintains information on business opportunities and provides direction and programs for economic development for Chamber members.
The Communication & Marketing Committee coordinates the public image of the DBCC. The Committee develops and implements communications to keep the Chamber’s members, strategic partners, stakeholders and other impact groups informed about Chamber program initiatives. The Committee assists with Chamber communications, marketing materials, media materials and website development.
The Membership Committee supports the ongoing recruitment and retention of DBCC members. Additionally, the Committee expands the membership base by recommending membership categories underserved by the Chamber. This Committee works to continuously improve the delivery of services to members.

The Chamber
The Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Est. 1926
Since 1926, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce has served as an advocate for the creation, growth, and general welfare of Black-owned businesses and organizations in the North Texas region. All historical records indicate that the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce is the first Black chamber of commerce in the nation’s history. In the DBCC’s 94-years of service, we have consistently promoted the expansion of business opportunities for our members and communities across the North Texas region through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance, special projects, marketing, and advocacy.
We know that our members are the most valuable component of our success. By elevating the voices of our members to advocate for the type of ecosystem we know will help Black businesses and organizations grow, we will successfully serve our mission. We commit to leading, educating, and advocating to help make North Texas a great region for our members and communities to do business.
