Our President

Harrison is a native of Dallas, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Political Science from Prairie View A&M University and his Masters of Political Science from Texas State University. His grandfather Bill Blair, and father Jordan Blair, dedicated their lives to improving the City of Dallas.

Harrison Blair currently serves as the President/CEO of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, America’s first Black chamber in the nation. Blair serves as the chief advocate for Black owned and supported businesses and entities across the North Texas region.Â

Advocating for the creation, growth, and the general welfare of Black owned businesses and entities is Harrison’s passion.Â

Harrison currently represents the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce (DBCC) as a member of the North Texas Commission (NTC) and as a member of Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce (TAAACC).

He also serves as the District 4 Park & Recreations board member for the City of Dallas. He previously served on the Mayor’s Star Council. Harrison spends his free time supporting his wife’s work as a resident artist of the Brierly Acting Company at the Dallas Theater Center.

He plans to continue his family’s legacy by serving the Dallas community as well.
